My perfect Christmas

If I had a tree and it was Christmas, I would decorate it my own special way. I would put lights, candy canes, presents, toys, flowers, snow and small stars and love hearts. The colour would be rainbow. The size wouldn't be not big or small but medium. The things I would put under the tree would be food, presents, and speakers to play Christmas music. The candy canes on the tree would be strawberry and Pineapple flavour.

Static Vs Current Electricity

This week we have been learning about static and current electricity.

What I use that requires electricity

In the morning I turn on the light. Then I go to the bathroom and then i have a shower. I brush my teeth and wash my face in the sink. Then I go make me food. Then I put my food in the oven. I go on my brothers chromebook. When my brother needs his chrome book I go on my mums phone. Then sometimes I go to the toilet. At school I use my chromebook and my plug. Then I go outside and have a drink. Then after i make me a cup of tea after school. All of  these things uses electricity.

Expectations

Today we went over the expectations in the class and at school.

Energy

For inquiry this term, we are learning about energy. Here is a poster I created using google draw about the types of energy.

Recount

In the weekend I stayed Maria’s house. The reason why i was at maria’s house was because my parents were at work. I saw my aunty talking to my other aunty about her wedding. I went to my cousins and brother outside to play. After I played I went to eat ice cream and chicken, potato and saled. After we ate, we watched a video called gumball. After we watched a video we all went to sleep.

 

Home

One day there was a girl who lived with her mum and little sister near Cape Town in 2017, her mum decided to go to New Zealand. She wanted her daughters to have a good university. She was excited to move but she didn’t  want to leave her family and friends. There is a lot of danger in South Africa, so that is why they moved to New Zealand and because her old country was tough. 

When came to New Zealand, she was scared because she thought her English was not going to be good. But the people she met helped her settle in.

Spring Writing

As I am walking I can smell the fresh air. In spring you smell the amazing flowers. Spring is a time where you relax your body. In springtime I play outside than i smell the fresh flowers run through the whole place. Then I see butterflies and bees smelling the sweet smell of the flowers. Whenever it spring i fell happy and relaxed. In spring the flowers and grass grow big.

Report about BEES

Bzzzzzzzzz what that sound? It a bee!



Bees make honey out of pollen. Bees protect the queen bee because if their queen bee dies, the bees don’t know what to do and then they
will die too!



Bees go to flowers to eat nectar. Bees are black and yellow and bees have 6 legs and 3 body parts.



Bees communicate by dancing the waggle dance. Bees live in the beehive because they protect the queen bee.



The pollen sticks to the bees hairy body and legs. Some of the other bees eat honey. Bees have wings and antennas that help them feel their way.



I hope you learnt something new about bees, I know I did!     

My long holiday break

In the holidays, it was my sisters birthday. We went to Mcdonalds and we played in the park. After my mum told us to go back to them so we went back. 

We said happy birthday to her. My mum said after the birthday we are going to my aunties house. Then we went to my aunties house. 

I went to play on the chromebook. I played a game called Shell Shockers. The way to play is that you have to join one team there is to. There is red and blue you have to kill blue if you are in red you have to kill red if you are in blue if you a lot of people you will be first.

Then I went to sleep.

I heard a bang...

I heard a bang from downstairs but I was home alone because my mum and dad went work. 

So I went downstairs. When I looked downstairs, there was no one there.  So I went back upstairs.

I heard a big bang so I went back downstairs. I saw no one so I went outside. 

I see a dark forest. I looked back to see the house. It was not there. I saw a monster. So I ran fast but then I got lost. 

A man helped me get home and killed the monster for me so I was safe. When my mum got home, we had dinner and I told all about it and went to sleep.

The castle

After being lost for hours, l stumbled across an abandoned castle. I heard a scream in the castle so I went inside the castle. 

When I got in it was scary inside. I heard scary sounds in the abandoned castle and I got frightened. 

Then I saw a witch in the castle. She can't see me because i was hiding at the back. She was ugly. She had a long nose, black eyes, big ears and ugly hair. 

So I went out of the castle. I ran away then the witch ran after me. I hit my head and fell down. The witch tried to get me then a man helped me. He was brave. 

He killed the witch and the man helped me get home.

Safety Tips

Weekend

In the weekend I was at Maria's house. I played games and ate. 

After I watched a movie and played on the chromebook, I played outside some more then I went inside the house.

My dad came so I had to go home. When I got home. I did my hair and went outside and played on the trampoline and went to the park. 

After, I went home because it was going to be night. We watched a scary movie and after the movie we went to sleep.
