1. Students around Auckland are at home doing their home learning. There are 42 students
altogether, but only 17 students are doing their learning. How many students are not doing their
home learning at home?  42-7=35 35-10=25.

                                                                                             

2. Students around Auckland are at home doing their home learning. There are 68 students altogether, but only 17 students are doing their learning. How many students are not doing their home learning at home?=51 60-10=50 8-7=1 50+1=51

3. Students around Auckland are at home doing their home learning. There are 92 students altogether, but only 17 students are doing their learning. How many students are not doing their home learning at home?=75 92-10=80 82-7=75

1.What have you been doing at home for these last two weeks of lock down?
Well I've been staying home and eating and doing homework and playing games with my family and playing on the trampoline.

2.What have you been feeling? Stressed because you can’t leave the house or happy because you like being with your family.
Well I am kind of mad and stressed because I can’t go out to explore but I am happy because I can
spend lots of time with my family.

3.What have you missed the MOST since the lock down started?.                         
I miss going outside and going to the shops with my mum and dad.

4.What has your favorite game/activity you have been doing at home.
Well I have been playing cards and tag and hide and seek.

Autumn Acrostic Poem

Autumn is when leaves change colours.

Under my feet I can see lots of  leaves.

Trees are big trees are old. Trees are bright and colourful.

Under my feet i can see the bright colourful leaves.  

March the 1th is when it is autumn.

Near me is a tree with beautiful leaves.

My perfect Christmas

If I had a tree and it was Christmas, I would decorate it my own special way. I would put lights, candy canes, presents, toys, flowers, snow and small stars and love hearts. The colour would be rainbow. The size wouldn't be not big or small but medium. The things I would put under the tree would be food, presents, and speakers to play Christmas music. The candy canes on the tree would be strawberry and Pineapple flavour.

The Longest Journey

One day there was a little girl and boy they were making a snow girl and snow boy they fell in love. Then the little boy and  girl had to go inside. Then the next day the showman was gone.the snow girl was sad because she thinks that he left her. The snowman walking all the way to London. He went through the farm then he went through the forest then the cold snow. Then he was at the lake and saw a bird the bird flew away then he angry so he went past then he claimed  the mountain then he passed the road then he saw kids throwing  snow so he was scared then he saw something then the next day he brought a present for the snow girl. It was a scarf gloves and a hat. Ten they lived happily ever after.

Static Vs Current Electricity

This week we have been learning about static and current electricity.

What I use that requires electricity

In the morning I turn on the light. Then I go to the bathroom and then i have a shower. I brush my teeth and wash my face in the sink. Then I go make me food. Then I put my food in the oven. I go on my brothers chromebook. When my brother needs his chrome book I go on my mums phone. Then sometimes I go to the toilet. At school I use my chromebook and my plug. Then I go outside and have a drink. Then after i make me a cup of tea after school. All of  these things uses electricity.

Sunsmart

Today we learnt about being sunsmart. I used google draw to create a poster. I hope you learn something new.

Recount

In the weekend I stayed Maria’s house. The reason why i was at maria’s house was because my parents were at work. I saw my aunty talking to my other aunty about her wedding. I went to my cousins and brother outside to play. After I played I went to eat ice cream and chicken, potato and saled. After we ate, we watched a video called gumball. After we watched a video we all went to sleep.

 

Home

One day there was a girl who lived with her mum and little sister near Cape Town in 2017, her mum decided to go to New Zealand. She wanted her daughters to have a good university. She was excited to move but she didn’t  want to leave her family and friends. There is a lot of danger in South Africa, so that is why they moved to New Zealand and because her old country was tough. 

When came to New Zealand, she was scared because she thought her English was not going to be good. But the people she met helped her settle in.

Spring Writing

As I am walking I can smell the fresh air. In spring you smell the amazing flowers. Spring is a time where you relax your body. In springtime I play outside than i smell the fresh flowers run through the whole place. Then I see butterflies and bees smelling the sweet smell of the flowers. Whenever it spring i fell happy and relaxed. In spring the flowers and grass grow big.
